What To Expect From a CEA Boxing Workout
When you head to our boxing workout at Competitive Edge Athletics, here is what you should expect:
15 Minute Warm-Up
Your trainer will teach you to wrap your hands before you start your 15 minute warm-up. Before the more intense boxing workout begins, youwill get your blood pumping and your muscles ready with stretching, jogging, jumping, squats, and calisthenics.
30 Minutes of Bag Work
Once your heart is pumping from your warm-up workout, we move to the boxing workout portion. The majority of the boxing workout is split into 3 minute rounds that include basic boxing combinations followed by a 1 minute ofactive rest. This gives you a break while keeping your heart rate up, which helps keep the calorie-burning going strong.
15 Minute Wrap-Up
Your CEA boxing workout concludes with a 15 minute session involving exercise gear and body resistance equipment. The trainers design these routines to strengthen your core and further engage your muscle groups. To help you cool down, youwill also do some floor work and toning exercises.
